general litigation and served as a hospitalization reference. During this time, Mr. Bailey also appeared before the Iowa Supreme Court and the Iowa Court of Appeals. In 1989 Mr. Bailey was appointed to the position of Page County Attorney and was subsequently reelected three times. As County Attorney, Mr. Bailey was the chief attorney responsible for prosecution of all crimes in the county. Mr. Bailey also advised the county government officials relative to civil matters.

In 2001 Mr. Bailey moved to Estes Park, Colorado and opened the Bailey Law Office. As a general practitioner, Mr. Bailey counseled clients on a wide variety of matters, including real estate, condominium associations, land use issues, estate planning, probate, divorce and criminal law issues. In 2014 Mr. Bailey merged his practice with Mountain West Business Law, P.C. and joined the firm as Of Counsel. On March 31, 2016 Mr. Bailey retired from the practice of law.

In his spare time Mr. Bailey enjoys spending time in the mountains and traveling. Mr. Bailey is also an avid reader and history buff.​​

biography

​Mr. Bailey began his law career practicing in rural Iowa. After graduating from Drake University Law School in 1976, Mr. Bailey practiced with the Warin Law Office in Mount Ayr, Iowa and continued to work as a general practitioner and litigator. During this time, Mr. Bailey also served as assistant Lucas County Attorney. In 1981, Mr. Bailey joined the Davidson Law Office in Clarinda, Iowa and formed Davidson and Bailey, P.C. where Mr. Bailey handled a wide variety of cases, including criminal law, family law, real estate, probate,
